June 2024: Chromebooks and BrainPOP for Felipe Carrillo Puerto
On June 23, 2024, we donated five Chromebooks and a BrainPOP subscription to Escuela Primaria Felipe Carrillo Puerto in Tinum, Yucatán. These tools support daily lessons, build digital skills, and improve literacy. The delivery was made with the school’s principal, Daniel Virgilio Ek Hau, and teachers.
September 2024: Continued Chromebook Deliveries
Volunteer travelers and MHC President Dr. Ryan Rowberry continued Chromebook deliveries to students at Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The goal is steady, classroom-ready access to reliable devices.
September 2024: Books for Arcole Bilingual School
Executive Director Dr. Lilia Lizama delivered books to Arcole, a bilingual school near Mérida, to grow the library and support literacy.
