Hangout Program – Invitation to Participate

Past Hangout Highlights

The Maya Heritage Center, in collaboration with Archaeologists Without Borders of the Maya World, invites you to join our Hangout Program—a series of virtual talks on Google Meet that connect communities through knowledge-sharing and open dialogue.

What is the Hangout Program?

  • Monthly talks hosted by professors and guest speakers.

  • An interactive format designed for discussion and questions.

  • Free and open to all: students, faculty, and the general public worldwide.

Purpose

Our goal is to foster collaboration in research and make cultural and scientific knowledge accessible to diverse audiences. The program highlights current cultural studies and social challenges, providing meaningful insights for students and communities alike.

Who Can Participate?

We invite speakers who want to:

  • Share their academic or fieldwork activities.

  • Highlight needs and challenges they have identified in their areas of expertise.

  • Engage with an international, interactive audience.

Current Audience

We currently collaborate with a classroom at the Technological University of Cancún, and we aim to expand participation to broader and more diverse audiences across the globe.
