Our program offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of the Maya world. You’ll experience daily life, traditions, and practices while engaging with local communities and participating in educational and cultural activities. The program is flexible, allowing participants to tailor their stay length according to their interests and availability.
Cultural Immersion
Delve into the vibrant culture of the Yucatán region through hands-on learning, traditional practices, and meaningful interactions with local communities. Engage with Maya heritage, language, and customs while contributing to the ongoing preservation of this ancient but living culture.
Flexible Stay Options
Our program accommodates a variety of schedules, offering short-term stays of 1–4 weeks, medium-term engagements of 1–3 months, or extended experiences of 6+ months. You can choose the duration that best suits your goals and availability.
Study Abroad & Volunteer
Participants can earn academic credits through our partnership with the Universidad de Oriente or volunteer in fieldwork and community projects. Whether you seek academic growth or hands-on experience, the program provides diverse pathways to meet your objectives.
Unique Cultural Experiences
Learn about traditional Maya practices, such as agriculture, crafts, and community events. Participate in fieldwork, cultural workshops, and heritage preservation activities. Each experience is designed to deepen your understanding of Maya culture and its contemporary context.
Health & Safety Measures
Your safety is paramount. Participants are required to undergo a physical exam and provide proof of vaccination to ensure a safe experience for all. You will have access to health resources and emergency contacts during your stay. A signed waiver of responsibility is also required for participation.

The program offers tailored coursework and mentorship opportunities with experienced educators. Network with professionals and experts across various fields, enhancing your career prospects and gaining valuable academic credits if desired.

Program Requirements
- Life Insurance: All participants must purchase a life insurance policy to ensure personal safety and well-being during the program.
- Interest Letter: Submit a brief letter explaining why you are interested in this program and what you hope to gain from it.
- School Credits (Optional): If you are interested in earning academic credits, mention this in your interest letter. We will work with you to align suitable courses and activities to your academic goals.
- Flexible Stay Length: We welcome participants for varying durations, from a few weeks to several months. Let us know your preferred length of stay, and we will accommodate your needs.
