You’ll experience daily life, traditions, and practices while engaging with local communities and participating in educational and cultural activities. The program is flexible, allowing participants to tailor their stay length according to their interests and availability.

Our program accommodates a variety of schedules, offering short-term stays of 1–4 weeks, medium-term engagements of 1–3 months, or extended experiences of 6+ months. You can choose the duration that best suits your goals and availability.

Participants can earn academic credits through our partnership with the Universidad de Oriente or volunteer in fieldwork and community projects. Whether you seek academic growth or hands-on experience, the program provides diverse pathways to meet your objectives.

Learn about traditional Maya practices, such as agriculture, crafts, and community events. Participate in fieldwork, cultural workshops, and heritage preservation activities. Each experience is designed to deepen your understanding of Maya culture and its contemporary context.

Your safety is paramount. Participants are required to undergo a physical exam and provide proof of vaccination to ensure a safe experience for all. You will have access to health resources and emergency contacts during your stay. A signed waiver of responsibility is also required for participation.
